After digging up an old thread a few days ago titled " if it's true" about the Klemm Tri-z 350 cylinder. It got me thinking that i actually have a test on this particular bike. I hope the scan process works out so it can be read. I love the old OMF skid that acts as a pipe protector as well as bottom case guard. I don't know if the pictures will turn out well enough to really see the size and lower profile of the Klemm sectional pipe. It is huge, and may have been built just for the 350cc kit. Sure wish they would have offered up more specs on the engine cause it leaves me with more questions than answers?:wondering It does appear that a oem cylinder and head was utilized, and that this was availiable in kit form, or on a part by part basis. Does make you wonder how many engines were prepaired this way and where they all ended up. My guess is that most of them were sold to people out west and southwest for obvious reasons. One thing's for sure, for me, this bike would surely be on the list of 'gotta ride trikes' from back in the day.:naughty:

Maybe if you put the original scans up on photobucket, and linked the photos here, they would be larger and easier to read? It's a better choice to get clearer photos and larger size, compared to putting on the site.

Great info Ed!
If someone with the article could get a better readable pic that would rock. Im very interested to see how they had it set up.

You guys do realize that you can click on the pictures to make them bigger (mine come up in a seperate window, I can then click again on the picture to zoom in)?
Good read, thanks for posting tecat-z.
