I posted a add on craigslist for a 1984 200x rolling chassis with 250x rims and snow tires on it, the snow tires are 24 inchs tall(lol), it sits higher than my tri-z...

so anyway I got a email for a trade on a 1987 225dx for the the rolling chassis..

The only problem is that it does have low comp. and no air filter... Other than that it is supposed to be in great shape, fenders are butt ugly yellow, and in great shape(from what he said), other than the forks bent a little. I think I can get it started knowing that he took it to a shop and all they did was spray starting fluid down the airbox and it started... he tried it and it won't start. so what do you guys think?

I wouldnt do it. It sounds beat. Bad motor, bent forks, ect.. BUT, who am I to say? If thats what your looking for, then go for it and fix it up. Personally id throw a motor in the x.

I guess it depends on what your looking for and what you were looking to get for the rolling chassis. The 225 does sound kind of rough though..
