You know.. those header nuts came right off with a little heat. :naughty: :welcome: I got new OEM studs and hardware on the way... along with alot of other goodies! :D

That's what I was just gonna say. It would look nice if the frame had fresh PC or paint, the exhaust was chromed, the engine was polished...

Right now it kinda looks like putting gold earrings on a really ugly chick. She's not any prettier, but now you dropped money on it too!

Now that you mention it Nate... can you even see the oil cooler when the tank and shroud is mounted? :confused: Syko still has the tank (being painted) so I wont know for a few more days.

I like it. In certain angles, you can see the oil cooler but like nat said since it is black you dont notice it too much.

I might have to get me one of those. My guard is all banged up.

I love it but it does seem like it would block about 40% or so of the air flow. In the winter no biggie but a hot 80-90 degree summer day, you may want it off ?

I think possibly you can get a temp guage Chris to take the place of the oil dip stick, it would be interesting to have the guage on and run guard with it off and on, on the same day, just to see how much hotter it runs.

If your threads match that may fit (be pretty cool too!) as long as there are no obstructions close to the fill hole that would get in the way of the guage.

Some guys even make them for fairly cheap.

I really dont think a diffrent screen protecting an oil cooler will matter much. I've seen pics of some of you guys running your X's completely coverd in mud.. I'm sure the cooler gets covered as well. I never heard anyone say anything to that effect. but I'll keep my eye on it just incase,

Couldn't a regular air-cooled cylinder and head also be called "radiators", because they work by process of radiating heat out into the ambient air to cool the engine?

I have to say i have yet to miss my old 350x - and I had a sweet super late 86 model with absolutely no cracks. Even with a buying a tecate that needs mucho attention to stay running.

Chris always talks big when he is licking the windows on the short bus shens. I'm around the boards, just dont feel like giving my $.02. And Chris the grand total to this point is around $4000, and that includes things I havent recieved like my +8 swinger and my big bore.

Chris shot me an email and said I ought to come on and say Hi, so here I am.

Yea, I lost interest in the 3 wheelers but don't get me wrong, I will always love them.

I think I'm going to sell EVERYTHING in a package deal, the 300R, 125M, 3 Yam 225's (none in running status but know the one will) and ALL the Hon/Yam parts I have including the batch of fairings, super SUPER rare 250R air ducts (am I the only one to have them ?) and every 3 wheel part I have.

All for $2500 FIRM,FIRM,FIRM (unless I get higher offers) .......I think it's a heck of steal !! I imagine JUST the 300R alone is worth 2000 or so and the 125M, well that's in very good shape, that's got to be up around at least 9-1100 , there just are not many of those to be had any more.

Truth be told ..........I'm just too lazy to work on the stuff anymore and my motox bikes are enough "work" for me, I'm just tired of having a cluttered garage and hope who ever buys them finishes them (84300R and 87 125M) to the standards I carried through on them.

Can't get my pictures to load right from the camera so maybe once I place the add Chris, if you (or anyone else) have pic's or links to the things I'm posting in classifieds, by all means post them for me.

I have some pic's in photobucket, but not very many.

IF I ever do get another wheeler, I'll just get a 86/7 200X, which of course is and always will be my favorite "do it all" machine, but we sure had fun on those 250SX's Chris , some good times !! :beer
