Progress on my 250R project

Finally parts are comin in and i've finally brought the thing to my garage at home. So far, i won a cylinder on ebay, that doesnt look too bad in the pictures the auction says its bored .20 over. Ill wait til i get it and measure it before i order the piston, my air filter, wrist pin bearing, and cometic gaskets came in. I found out the forks are junk so i need to find a set. Will 85/86 forks work? Another thing i found out was that my right rear hub was Yamaha bolt pattern

The crank bearing isnt junk so i dont have to split the cases. Ill have some pics up later.

if this a air fooler R you can use hubs from 200x/250ex/300ex/400ex/450R on there the forks off a newer liquid R wont work unless you use the tripples they are bigger than the air fooler forks

He is right, used the entire front end off an 85R (forks/triples/headlight/brakes) on my 83R and basically all ihad to do was make a steering stop. I have pictures if you need to see them
