My 1985 Honda Big Red has a increase/decrease nut on the right side of the engine case.So what is this and what does it do?How does it work?
Getting a manual for it,but it is going to take awhile to get here.
Thanks

I think that would be the clutch adjustment nut. It adjusts how much the clutch is allowed to slip.

it is the clutch adjuster. it adjusts the freeplay of the clutch.if you messed with the screw you would notice varying freeplay at the shifter. this is straight from a service manual. "loosen locknut, turn adjusting screw counter clockwise until internal resistance is felt, then tun screw clockwise 1/4 turn, hold adjusting screw and tighten locknut"
