im curious bout the +3 ahd a stock shock with progressive spring. Is that thing real weak or is it just dandy?

Thanx a ton guys...I'm glad the minor improvements and upgrades are apparent to you guys. I'd hate to have invested all the time and $$ just for it to keep seeming like the same old tired R.

Josh - I ran the +3 for quite a while on a stock sprung shock before the progressive spring and the progressive made a world of difference. Very plush when it needs to be and very absorbing when necessary. I'm quite happy with it's overall performance. It wouldn't likely work too well for a larger person or a high flyer, but it's "just dandy" for me.

It's just a good thing your race bike has a headlight...

Or does your trail bike have numbers? I'm confused.
