I was wondering if bearings, and other parts from a CR250 Elsinore would be interchangeable.

Yes 78-80 only the clutch is the same and all the bearings are the same only it has no counter balancer so no bearings there.

Also the whole tranny is the same layout so I imagine it would also interchange, all of the seals should be the same aswell.

If it's crank bearings you need bike bandit has factory atc 250r ones also the manual has a special procedure for replacing the crank bearings and seals let me know if you need instructions.

Special instructions???? I popped out the old ones. Put the new ones in the freezer for an hour. Bearings that is. Put a little heat on the case and tapped them in. Did I do this wrong? I dont think so. Not bashing, just wondering.

It requires heating the case they recommend an oven and freezing the new bearings and it makes the process easier, I've also just punched them out cold with a brass punch and a hammer.

Now I see. So yes I did it right. I knew I did nothing wrong.

mine arent to hard to get in/out. requires hammer tapping. NOT beating.
the crank bearings and seals can be had off ebay for about 40 bux shipped. they seem to be good, no problems yet.
