1984 honda 200s

im possibly looking at buying a 1984 honda 200s. the kid put new valve seals and spings in it.. new cdi box, had the carb rebuilt. now he has no time o ride it or get it going he said he has had it running since all the work but he thikns the carb needs to be tuned in...so some time out throught the day ill go look at it and he only wants $150.. :TrikesOwn

Does he have reciepts for the work he did? If he did all that, Id guess he also checked the compression? Is the bottom end good? How do the plastics and tires look? If ok, then Id say its worth $150.
It takes alot for me to buy a non running machine. If Im not getting a good vibe from the seller, forget about it.

i tried to call the guy again today and no luck (doesnt help that its thanksgiving..) so sometime this weekend im gonna call him and go look at it.. im pretty sure the guy is tellin the truth he seemed rele knowledgeable about it. im gonna use my good judge ment and see where it takes me.. if i get it ill try to post pics
