Hi Guys
Does anybody know of a diagram showing the oil flow around a 110 engine. Looks like my motor has thrown a chain in its life. A repair has been done using JB Weld, but it looks like the oil feed has been damaged to the Hi/Lo gearbox.
Cheers
ML.

I think your best bet would be to look at a parts fiche of the cases and such and try to figure it out yourself. I don't think there are any diagrams like that in existence.

There doesn't seem to be any specific pictures in the honda shop manual on the oil feed. Can you get a picture of what you think is damaged and post it on here. I have a nos engine casing part that I can compare the picture to. The manual just basically says the oil flows to the hi\lo gearbox and gravity drops over the sub transmission gears and then is just gravity returned to the main crankcase to be sucked up by the oil pump again. The manual gives a very basic oil flow diagram and it also shows a basic oil flow chart but it doesn't have a great picture of the left side of the engine case with the oil flow through it. By the looks of my nos casing piece for the hi\low sub transmission, there is just a small hole in the bottom of where the subtransmission is which looks like a supply hole from the oil pump, and it just fills the lower part of the sub transmission. The gears just turn through the puddle of oil supplied by the oil pump and when the oil gets high enough that the oil just overflows and returns to the main part of the engine cases to be piced up by the oil pump again. It shouldn't be too hard or expensive to pick up a decent used engine case cover that isn't damaged.

My 350X Service manual has the oil flow chart in it.... Not sure why it's not in the 110 manual? Probably just a small orifice hole feeding it.
