Is there something I dont know about the plastic ATC replacement tanks? I almost never see them on 3www. Are they hated or something?

I think they are FUGLY! Especially the ones for the atc 200 and 185s.

A trike that has a metal tank stock, I think, just looks so much nicer then to replace it with a dull plastic one.

Plastic ones you have to have special vented deccals too or they won't hold up and even them tend to come off sometimes.

They are great on a rider. I have one on my 350X and it it great to not have to worry about rust and dents. I have hit that plastic tank with my knees hard enough to cave in a stock tank and it takes a beating. The cosmetics do leave a little to be desired but it's all good.

I just put one on my 350X, it was cheaper then buying a used metal one and having it sealed and repainted. I think a metal tank looks better but for a rider it was my best option.

planning on a all black 350X , just needed a tank now mine was rusted through when I bought it.

I think they're good for a machine that's going to be actually driven. They don't look great, but the fact that they don't rust makes up for it.
