I am looking for the best front tire for a 350x to help turn better in the corners. When riding trails or mx tracks it seems to push better than it turns. Is there a tire out there that will reduce the push in the front end?

I am putting 250r forks and triples on it this winter. A few people told me to order a custom 10" rim from douglas.

ill bet some TRAIL PROS would do it.

not because if the traction, but because their so heavy, the bike wont go fast and it will make the tire dig into the ground!

Yea the best bet would be to order it from Douglas because with a 10" the options are WAY better. You can get a 22" tall tire which will help with the turning that's for sure.

I believe dereck adams has one on the 450-z I plan on picking up 2 shortly as I have the same pushing problem with my X

Yeah, the Kenda Front Max does work pretty well. I'm running one right now on the 200R. Going with a custom 10in front wheel is a better idea though. I know I'll be doing that this winter.

I like the stock tire for the 350x it looks great, I've also run the front max but I don't like the looks and its kinda heavy but worked well.

Well to be honist, for me it would be the oem tire on all the trikes. But mostly the performance models ( except for the 84-85 Tecate) and a 85 tri-z would get a oem 86 front. Oem's really seem to do all things well. And they look the best by far!! Thats why oem fronts go for so much money when you do find a nos discontinued tire. But as time passes we have no choice but to find a suitable rerplacement. Which unfortunately, can be very frustrating. And believe me, i've been through it. Most of our choices have big ugly lugs that look more at home on the front of a big 4x4 mud buster, than on a lightweight performance 3wheeler.

The Front Max Is a GREAT 3 wheeler front tire.

I like the stock front tire, dunlap makes it nearly the same as the OEM tire. For muddy and sand riding, the front max is the way to go. I don't like the front max for mx use, it has way too much feedback in turns. I can't let the rear slide out and let the front countersteer. I would rather slide the rear and counter steer the front. For trails, I would use the front max. Mx gets a stock tread tire. I just ordered a new front tire $49.

To be honest, I think your best bet is the Kenda Front Max. They are a solid, Proven Front Tire with a great tread pattern that does'nt clog up in the mud. I have one on the Tecate and the 200X and they work great. Like I said they are a solid tire. No tire roll with these, they dont even push bad in the mud. In the pics they look ugly I guess but when you mount that sucker up front, it looks pretty mean and will make you smile. I know the better handling up front will make you smile. Big Deep lugs and a tire that looks like it will last for years. Not like some of these that I swear I can pop in a hard days ride. Anyways for a performance Trike I think the Front Max is the best bet.
Heres some pics.
Oh yea that rear tire is the best:w00t: Fast Trekkers rule:D
By the way thats the big fatty up front on the tecate the one on the 200x looks better being skinny like the 350x Oh yea Id rather have better performance than looks

If you ride in the sand, a razor front tire is very nice. If you guys don't know what it is its the tire that is bald except for a line of tread in the middle. They dont do that much better they just look pretty flippin sweet.

I am thinking of going with the dunlop 22x7x11 for the front. The tire looks really mean on Dereks 450, also I heard the tire stears well.
