Have any of you taken the baffle out of your muffler to make your trike loud.

Not the whole pipe just the noise baffle.

If you have or know will it ruin my 1983 ATC 70 ?

I dont really see the point. If I were you, I would just ride it. You'll take out the baffle, then it will get misplaced, and then you'll be sitting on an incomplete exhuast.

If you want noise, try to find some aftermarket to stick on it.

Hows it running? Did you get your issue worked out?

You should try to get it to run first.......................

Well I didn't time it with a feeler gauge, I just guessed how much to gap the points and then pushed it and it started quick and idles good sounds good but it cuts-out when pressing the throttle unless I choke it. It will run choked really good sounding and no cutting out ?

If it runs good with the chock on, you've got it to lean. Richen that sucker up.

Please dont make anything louder then it has to be...main reason we dont have much for riding areas anymore.
