yamaha tri wheezzzy question

I'm gonna buy one of the big 250 2 strokes (I'm likeing the tecate the best so far) so I was checking them all out and also all of the stuff on ebay. For the tri-z a guy had a billet boost bottle. What the heck is a boost bottle and what does it do?

just extra air really some people just take it off its an empty chamber with air

Does it connect to the carberator? and does the tecate or the 250r have one?

it connects to the valve cage and i'm pretty sure the r n tecate have one just not visible
