1986 tri-z

can someone tell me what size tires the 86 tri-z had when it was new, thanks.

22x11-9 in the rear and I beleive 25x8-12 in the front

22 in the back, and 23 on the front. The 85's came with the 25!

kintore, would it of been 23x8-12, Ive just got a road legal tri-z, its the black and red one also known as the 85 1/2, i'm trying to get it back to stock as much as possible,

Has anyone got a detailed list of the difference between the 85 and 86 tri-z

if its a 85 then you want a 25 inch tire. I would still go 23 for perforamance and handling if its road legal.

Do a search, maint things I got off the top of my head are-
Larger fork Diameter
Carbs
Relocated rad overflow to underneath seat
Plastics change
Tire change size


Thats all i got on my head, do a search and itll show ya
