need help identifying tecate

i called on this bike for sale and i thought it was a 1986 model by looking at the picture but the guy said it was a 1985. whad do yo guys think?

Thats an 86, dont let him know that though he might up the price, worth more than a 85 lol How much?

Looks like an '86 to me, could be an '87 but I think the head light is a little different on the '87 (I'm not Tecate man though, someone else please chime in and correct me!).

i thought he was wrong. im trading it for a 1983 skidoo 7500 plus snowmobile i have like $100 in to so its not bad he was asking $400 for it. it need a stator and to be put back together. i want to put a kx 500 motor in it when im done.

The 87 had the keyed ignition and diff decals, and I think a parking brake besides what the 86 had.. from what I know. Get more pics when you get it
