The 82R axle fits right in an 85 and is near identical. I don't believe that the 83/84 fit...

you have heard correctly

for the 83-85 200x durablue still makes axles you will have to run a 81-82 250r sproket on it though.

200x, most time its just listed as 200x axle. inside they say if its aftermarket or not.

i dont think a stock 81/82 R axle is longer then a stock 200x one. id rather have use a stock 200x one if i had to because there are so many of them.

just keep checking ebay until spring, somthing will pop up. i can keep a check out for ya. i just sold my stock one last week.

yea its on my watch list but 2 things scare me. 1 is its not a durablue and 2 i dont like his rating. i dont really like to buy from someone less than 99% feedback unlees i know them. ive got ripped too many times.

I hear you on that. And for some reason, I've had much worse luck buying ATC parts than anything else in the past. I'm not sure what the deal is with that.

There was one on eBay in incredible shape that was about to end, but I'm sure you saw that. It wasn't cheap.

yea i saw it. rpm-atv had it on. went for around 150 bux or so. it was cherry man. the perfect axle. but if im buying a used axle for that much its going to be a extended axle.

yea i dont know why but i had the same problem with ebay. i only get ripped on atv and atc parts. anything else is no problem. thats why i have a select bunch i will buy from on 3ww. i try to stay away from sleez bay as much as possible.
