rust removal

hello all

I want my exhaust looking like new, so i want to remove the surface rust without sanding them. Is there a way it can be done, i was told lemon juice would work because of the acid. If anyone knows any tricks would greatly be appreciated.

try CLR. i used it on my atv axhaust and it does an ok job. To get it to look real good get a cleaning pad for a die grinder and gring it off.

Media blast with fine silica. Won't harm good metal at all.

Brillo pad. if the surface is exceptionally shiny, try some metal polish and a mothers powerball.

but brillo pads work well.
