carb boot

well, im getting a 36mm mikuni carb, and i dont think its going to fit my current boot. i dont think heating it up will work because it is already showing dryrot cracks and such.........cant find one on ebay, and i cant find a odyssey fl350 boot either (works as an oversized boot for the R.

its a 84 R.

any ideas?

There are lots of ways to "hack" it on there but you really want a smooth flow into the intake and from the air filter - you could run an open filter with an outerwear on the back though.

Gotta be something that can be made to fit?? I'd machine something up if I had to get it mounted nicely and nothing else worked.
