There are a few out there but your talking 4-600 dollars.

Rather then take it to a dealer you may save a bit by taking it to a suspension place and the recharge you mention does include an oil change too.

This isn't in your neighborhood (in PA) but would be a good example of where to send it.

This guy (Al Carr) had been doing them for 20-30 years. East Coast ATV takes all their shocks/forks to them.

Fair prices too

Shock Service: $45.00 (Kayaba, Showa)
Shock Service: $55.00 (WP, Ohlins, Penske)
Shock Rebuild: $95.00 + parts (All brands)
Shock Re-valve: $189.95 Kayaba, Showa, WP (with Gold Valve)

I used a warrior shock on my Z. Bolted right up ;) I just had to cut a slot in the frame where the resevior goes so I could slide the new one in (comes in from the bottom) I bent the mount, slid the hose by and bent back. For daily riding the warrior shock is fine.

P.S. Thanks to many others on this board for the info, all has been covered here. May want to try a search for more info

I too got a warrior shock on my z, I think you could get a banshee link if you want it to sit a little lower too, not sure though.

From what I've read it's a waste of money to rebuilt a tri z shock.. Something with the shaft wearing and the new seals leaking. Easier just to pick up a warroir shock or spend the bucks on a works or elka.
