well was browsing craiglist for a cheap suzuki quadsport 80 for the kid and an ad for this 70cc three wheeler came up, was close by, so i called the guy and got directions to his house, told him i would be there in 15 minutes...ended up being a friend of mines cousin, lol. anyways, saw the 70 sitting there, and could resist for 150 bucks. needs new plastics, some motor work, so i am hoping to have it all redone before christmas for him. any one know of any cool 70 websites, im gonna looking for alot of info on them soooo be prepared. i knwo theres alot you can do to these, so i am kinda excited just as much as the kid is going to be.

Nice score! I'm putting one together now and it needs the whole recoil starter just like yours. They are like 150 bucks retail cost from honda. I hope to find one somewhere used. ;)

no please post em up, i need ideas on what can be done to these. i wanna trick it out for my kid, maybe widen it with some new rims and tires, do some motor mods to it...does anyone know if theres any performance parts like carbs, exhausts, maybe a cam? how bout dropping a lifan in it, how hard is it to do this? im kinda new to these little buggers, but i want to go thru it and make something cute out of it.

Lifan's will bolt directly into the frame, they're built on the Honda 70 engine style anyway. You can use any aftermarket exhaust from a Honda CRF 50, it just takes a little bit of bending to make it fit. As for cams, yes Powroll should have them.

huh just a friend ok,well anyways yeah theres alot of things you can do with it like 110 motor or maybe a cr 80 motor hahahaaha would be sweet i think the kid is you scott but it will be cool for your son to ride with us on his trike.

well i got the flywheel, pullstarter and case cover already, they are in a parts box, along with the aircleaner and a few other things like the petcock, and some nuts and bolts. the dude i bought it off of said all it needs is a coil basically, i have everything else. i plan on going thru this thing though, every nut and bolt, some new plastics because the pictures dont show it but the rears are trashed. thanks for the links guys, kinda excited about getting it all fixxed up, and your right dig, im probably going to enjoy it just as much as the kid will, hahahahaha.

ok, so heres some clearer pics now that i have it in the garage with the other bikes. as you can see the plastics are shot. needs a nice new moshman seat cover as well. after looking at some of the other websites and posts, im getting tons of ideas on this thing. thinking all new plastic fenders front and back, and a plastic tank as well. some nice chrome rims with them mini holeshots on them, and of course go thru the motor, maybe put that 88cc kit in it plus the high flow oil pump and clutch upgrade. plus a nice exhaust on it... i would rather the pipe go up over the rear wheels instead of under the bike, so what options do i have...anything for the crf50f will work? my kids gonna love this thing, hoping to have it all nice and ready for xmas day for him.

i cant believe how easy these thigns are to disassemble, i had the thing tore down to the frame in a matter of an hour...geeeeeez. nothing to them. another question, and i dont knwo what the chances are but i have seen soem 70's with suspension kits...is there aneone out the that makes them and sells them, or are the few and far inbetween to come by?

Yeah CRF50 exhausts will fit on with some minor bending.
