What is the best way to clean out the inside of an exhaust pipe? I wanna make sure there is nothing in there to get sucked into the cylinder after just putting a fresh top end on it.

What kind of pipe: 4 stroke or 2 stroke? I used a parts washer tank with a pump and ran solvent through it until it came out clean, then I sprayed a little brake clean in it and then ran water through it, and finally blew it out with air until it was dry. This was on my little moped (2 stroke). Hope this helps.

Thanks for the insight. It is a 2 stroke. What kind of solvent, carb cleaner or maybe gas?

I would be intrested in this for 2 stroke as well as 4 stroke. We are in the middle of putting a fresh top on the wifes quad and it is 2 stroke. My 3 whlr is 4 so I am a vested intrest in both. :TrikesOwn
