I was given a 1983 Honda 185 in very poor condition years ago and as a hobby here and there completely took it apart, replaced what needed, etc. etc. The first step was taking off the plastic body/fenders which I did placing the bolts in plastic bags. After the couple years it took me to rebuild it and have it running and looking better than new I decided to paint the body parts and fender to match the new gloss black frame and metallic fuel tank. The problem is all the bolts that were in those baggies are gone (more than likely my wife). Where would you go to get those bolts, nuts, and screws for the body and racks for this three wheeler? Sorry so long winded, but any help would be greatly appreciated.

about any local hardware store will have them but you have to know which sizes you need. I'm sure you know already but they are all metric too. People like putting SAE bolts into Metric bikes for some reason

I ordered most of them directly from Honda (www.hondaparts-direct.com) I made a list and placed one order online. If nothing else the microfisch shows the sizes for each bolt. The rest I got from Ace Hardware (They have metric flange bolts, but are no cheaper than Honda)

Thanks. Do you remember the ball park price of getting all your bolts from Honda and the hardware store?

No.. I didnt get them all, just the ones that were missing or in bad shape. Metric flange bolts arent cheap though, close to a buck apiece for the medium size ones (like to hold the rack on). Regular metric bolt and a washer was cheaper, but I stuck with what it had.

Someone turned me onto this place when I needed some replacment bolts for my metric cruiser. Fair prices and good selection.
