will a front fender for an 200x fit an 84 es and has anyone tried to retro fit any plastics from a different trike to the es. there has to be something that works that is available. i am going to try something, but figured i would ask.

I don't know of anything. Are you talking front or rear fenders? Fronts seems like something in the same 185/200 frame would work. Rears, I imagine something could be made to work fine, but you may loose the center tool box. Keep us posted on what you find. Chris

Well, I am sure you could make the front fender fit. I have a 350X front fender on my 250SX. All it takes is making a bracket that hooks to the forks like the OEM fender did - then mount that bracket to the 200X fender.
As far as a direct bolt on - no way man!

I dont know, I think your gonna run out of space between the tire and where the forks narrow up to the neck. I got a front fender off the 83 X here if you want to give it a try. I think if you did get it to fit it would need to be cut out around the forks therefor weakening the fender itself, it may look good and withstand wind resistanse around the yard but I wouldt open'er up in any long stretches or drive it into a boat or anything.
