well went out the first time with it.... runs great most of the time but sometimes at mid range it was dying and really bad when you pull a wheelie up....it had great begining and unbelieviealbe top end so whats up am i starvin it and is it just playing catch up???....thx

Sounds like a fuel starvation problem. How long would you hold it on top -WOT-? Would it die down after a while? If so your pump isnt up to par, or there is some minor blockage.
What I do know, is that the Z has a "lightswitch" powerband. When my bike is running rich, it will sputter and pop in the middle, then EXPLODE into the topend.
Now that I read it again, is it dieing when your just laying into it for a wheelie?
Whats your plug look like?

plug... havent looked at it.... its just sometimes..... wot is fine just mid is the problem...and its just really bad when i put here up....just want to know if anyone else experience this ever...thx
sound like its rich in the middle raise the clip on the needle and see if that helps,and by the way,how was croom?

well i didnt make it all..my d.ass friend started to messed with his banshee so it went sour...should have gone but im going to try this weekend again....one clip ill give that a try...... thx
