runs 30sec. then dies

hello guys, got a honda 200 , put piston, rings and new timing chain. will start with choke full on on 1st or 2nd pull, runs for a min. then dies. blowed out carb. with air, clean. so what have i over looked, carb did good before rebuild. thanks guys joe

possible peice of trash in the fuel inlet, fills bowl runs for a few secs untill bowl is dry, starts again in a few after some gas leaks back in, you have to tripple check a carb when you redo one.

Are you running a filter? Is your tank rusty, etc.? Have you cleaned the petcock? Carb probably needs another cleaning like Syko said.

got it running, cleaned carb again, done the trick. Got and oil leak got to fix. just a gasket around the c.d.i. seems to be pouring out, thanks for the help guys.
