There's a guy on craigslist of sandiego with a 1985 350x and he says its made to a 425. If that's possible and if anyone knows how to do it hit me with all the info you guys have. Cause that would be my next project.

Yes, I've seen 425s stuffed into trx250rs for mx. I think it was Duncan Racing that sells the kit, but I can't remember exactly.

Are you talking a big bore kit for the 350 motor? That sounds like it could get pretty pricey, maybee a 450r motor conversion would be around the same $$ and be much more reliable, that is if your into fabricating.

I don't know it just says 425
About how much would it cost to do the bore?
I know a guy on this site put a 450 engine into a 350x and how much did that cost him?
That would be my dream, I would destroy all my friends quads.

The cost is obviously going to differ from person to person. All depends how much you can pick a motor up for, and if you are able to do the mods yourself.

The only prolbem is getting the engine the fabing is no prolbem at all
Would you get the engine new or used?
Is there a link to any info on this motorswap?

i know a early 80s xr500 sleeve and piston (89mm) with a 6mm crank will make a 350x into a 460cc
thats the easyest and cheapest way to go since you can use all the xr500 overbore pistons

Do you know anyone who did that?
Cause if it will work good I will probably do it. The problem would bejust finding the parts in good condish. Well the piston and sleeve I could buy new right? Where could I find a crank?
