man.. u have got to start using your head instead of asking us about EVERY little thing! noone could tell you if it is worth it or not, go check it out, see if it has good compression, make sure it has good spark, and maybe even try to start it up, get some pics of it then post them here and we could give u an answer and tell u what year it is
sometimes old people are where u can score the best deals..
use your head when making a post tho, we need more info!

if its a 175 then its a 2 stroke, just check the over all condition, and if its a 175 for gods sake dont put straight gas in it unless you know for sure the oil injection is working correctly

Bring a spray bottle of gas with you and go have a look, instead of putting faith in a sitting gummed up carb just pull the plug and spray some gas in and try it. If its all there and runs its a good deal. I personally dont like those bikes, but for $200 I would buy it, if it runs.

Was it his from new, his sons or what ?

Chris200X has some parts for one of those if you get it and need any.

just parted a nice one out. I paid 50$ for it and barely got my money back - could not give some of the stuff away - they are not very liked.

if you want it to play around on - go for it. get it, beat it, sell it. I bet it will be fun for a while - offer him 100$

They are one strange machine but with being so light with a 175 2 stroke I'll bet there pretty peppy.

I do not think you can really go wrong with a $200 bike. At the least you can use it as a beater!

I hear they are peppy - but they are short lengthwise and widthwise - plus the one i had was a hardtail..

Personally, I wouldnt. I dont think I would pay that unless it was in great shape, and running!!!!

Be patient. The deals are out there..............

Well it looks ok but is missing the chain guard, air cleaner, and it needs a brake cable and its getting spark compression seems ok and the pull start works?
