I found these calipers and was wondering if anyone has used them and if they hold up or they are junk like some of the knock off carbs. They run the same price as a well maintained 2005 model off a 300ex. Should I go aftermarket new or slightly used OEM?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=012&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=220034909145&rd=1

That's actually a good deal! That is a NISSIN caliper, and that's what they came with. You'd have to change the bracket though.

Yep, thats a good caliper. I don't want one of the other no name ones being offered on EBAY, I'd rather have an OEM one and rebuild it.

I believe the thread is in the mad scientist lair... A cr80 (If I rememebr correctly)caliper will bolt right on and usually go dirt cheap on ebay.

Jason85atc250r (who discovered this) let me ride his 200x a few weeks back and the caliper had no problems stopping the trike. even with my big ass on it.

Edit: I found the thread:
