ok, i am looking into getting my tranny cryo'd after i get it ported, polished, and get the stroker crank into it.

my question is wwould this be advisable, or should i have nothing to worry about?

its a 84 250r
300 big bore
power reeds
DG pipe+silencer

later on:
4MM sroker crank
ported, polished
any other applicable upgrades i may find.

it is after the stroker gets put in and everthing gets done if i may have tranny problems.

any suggestions? cryo a must?

also, does anyone have any experience with the cryo process? does it reallywork?

I think microniteing it would make it stronger than cyro might make it briddle, i sent all my gear clusters in my mustang tranny out and had them done, they look awsome plus it free's up horse with less friction

hmm. ok. i will think, but it will be a stroked, ported 300R, not too common, if even there are any out there......the stroker crank is definitely homemade.

I would not trust a HOMEMADE stroker crank.

right?? these ol' air foolers have one tough trans! now I know sometimes the big bore ftz, psi, sabertooth 250Rs grenade trans but only after 75+ HP a 300 is bad but not that bad, or any where near that bad.
