Is there such a thing and would they hold up on the fat part of exhaust pipe below the gas tank of an R pipe ?

I know on the muffler, stickers hold up no problem, but that doesn't get near as hot I imagine.

If there is no such product, could I use that silver heat resistant tape (is there a smooth kind?) then apply the vinyl over that ?

All I really need is heat resistant vinyl though and I can make my own design but if someone makes them, all the better !

They kinda do. They make a spray mask for painting and it can be baked up to like 200deg. if I remember. Thing is I don't know if it's a one time thing or how well it will hold up over time. Also I think it only comes in a few colors.
Avery vinyl film spray mask I know comes in white( can't stand any heat)
They have a yellow that can. Just what I've read on there site.
You may be able to find others somewhere.

Use the spray mask to make a stencil and then spray it with high temp paint then remove the mask. The mask can be cut very detailed like regular vinyl. I have the stuff let em know if i can help.... Any sign shop should have the spray mask.

Wouldn't it be easier to make a stencil then spray over it with hi temp paint. stickers have a tendency to peel.

Shane does some great work, I'll be pming you about a Z sticker kit I'll be needing soon!

That's great to know, thanks! Now I guess the next step would be for me to call wiseco and ask who makes the stickers for them.

The cylinder doesn't get near as hot as the pipe though, does it ?

I found this place (not in USA though) but they don't have any info on the caption in this link but at least we know that it seems possible that there is stuff out there that will work.

Cadart - Signs & Graphics. Number plates, magnetic signs,
We produce all sizes of vinyl lettering and graphics in many different colours ... Also just in, a brand new product from the USA, The Heat Resistant Vinyl ...

If all fails, I'll just do the Chris method and stencil it on with heat paint .

At the moment I have regular vinyl on, just to see if it will hold up.

Most likely it's the same sticker (silver rectangle with DG in red) that is on my DG muffler then.

Yea, that would be the type to get Raffa !
