200x Revving Wildly Carb Problems.. Help!

Got it back together and started her up. And it revs fully and i have to kill it. The needle clip position is on 2nd from bottom i think. Do i have something wrong??? It aint that cable cuz it moved the throttle just fine.. All i know is i need some help before i rip the damn thing apart and just part it out.
It runs good though no smoke but im out of money to buy anything for it???
who knows.
would my problem be fixed if i got an XR200 carb? it would prolly be jetted good for a 200x with cobra exhaust right??

check and make sure that the slide and the needle are seating all the way into the carb. then check and make sure you dont have any air leaks or hole through your rubber gromet that hold your carb to the motor

okay and if that isnt it?? could it be the rubber seal from carb to intake?

Have it running and spray either around it, if the revs jump real high its an air leak. But by the sounds of it thats what it is anyways.
