225 tri moto are they worth it

dude is selling a 225 tri moto and says that the carb needs rebuilt. will a bad carb cause gas to go into the airbox? and it needs a battery and pull rope. haven't seen it or pics but the guy is selling it for 250 bucks. says its a killer deal, but he sounds as if he doesn't know what he is talking about. ad i seen for it said it was a kawasaki 250

if its not far away go check it out man, never know could be a very nice trike in need of very little work, people like him that dont know what they have is where u can usually score the best deals, but if you cant hear it run or drive i would bring a compression tester and look it over real good etc, im sure some other guys on here could tell ya everything to look for on them..cant hurt to check it out tho if its not too far away

As long as it's not beat it sounds like a good deal. Yes gas overflowing into the air box is because of the carb, the needle seat is worn or the float is sticking. Make sure you change the oil as gas can also get in there from the carb overflowing.
