Well i picked up an 85 200x today. This is going to be my girlfriends ride, and everything is original! Even original tires! Got it from the original owner and wow, he kept this thing in tip top shape. i was amazed at how clean everything was. Its due for an oil change, what do you guys use on your 200x's? Thanks! sorry, cant load pics files too large

I use valvoline 10w-30 all year round. Change it every couple months and it seems to do fine.

Use Rotella T diesel oil, 15w40, year-round. It has more detergent in it than regular car oils and will keep the engine cleaner.

Ive got this "thing" for 85's, and am starting to want another one to build for next year (tired of watching all you guys have fun on the track). I would have to get rid of my 86 though, and dont know that I could do that.
I have used valvoline 10-30 and 10-40, but recently Ive been using Kendall (really good oil, pretty cheap too).

this one set me back $1100. At first thought I didnt want to spend that much on a 200x, but after seeing it, it was wellll worth it in my eye. Thanks for the offer with the pics, i will send them tonight when i get home.

Wow, very clean trike you have there.

Oil type I use in our 200x is Autozone brand 10w40. Cheapest stuff they have, never had a problem. Use it in all our trikes and bikes, both offroad and street.
