I was looking for Red Kote at all my local auto parts stores and couldn't find any. Stopped at one and the guy there said he had had other people asking for it, so he was going to order some. Today I was in town and stopped and he had just got some in, only it was called Northern Fuel Tank Liner, so the questions began. The company that makes Red Kote is Damon Industries, Inc. in Alliance, Ohio. I called them and talked to an engineer and he said that they make it for this company in Willmar, MN and they market it as Northern Fuel Tank Liner. The engineer INSISTED that the make up is chemically the same except that they put in blue dye instead of red. So if you are having a hard time finding Red Kote maybe you can get Northern Fuel Tank Liner, I hope it is the same as I bought a quart at $31.95 plus tax.
