Axle NUTS! and brake hubs

Anyone using anything other than the stock axle nut and brake hub on an 85 250r??

I have a new axle enroute and want to find something nicer than stock... Photos would be great too...

Noy sure if 85 is the same as the TRX but everyone is running Lonestar or Durablue or other brake hubs and anti fade nuts. They aren't cheap but they work and they are nasty!!

both axle nut off a 85-86 250R and 85-86 350x will work and only a 85 250R hub will work without mods. thats all that is coming up.

I tried to put an anti-fade on a 85 carrier, it rubbed it . 85's your only option is a stock brake hub and a rad locking nut, that would be your choice.

I am looking for some input here as well.I have a 86 Rpm axle and would like to know what I need to do to put it in a 85 R stock carrier.I sized them up and the the 86 axle is longer thru the carrier????Than the 85????Anyone done this before?I did a search and could not find a definate answer.

Got an email back from Lonestar Racing today. They said that the anti fade nut that they have will work on the 85 250r..
So I guess I'll use the stock hub with the LSR anti fade nut.. or the rad nut? I have a rad carrier, but didn't see the nuts for my trike.. I'll look again..

I sent an email to durablue asking about thier anti fade brake hub,, haven't heard from them yet..
