just wondering, is a vesrah connecting rod for a 84 200x a performance rod? or is it a stock replacement?

You could prolly get it shot peened for added strength, but otherwise it's just a stock replacement. They do seem to hold up real well though.

The Vesrah rod is shotpeened,heat thread.It is a better connecting rod that the stocker.

OOOOOOOK, that is true for Hot Rods brand, but I haven't seen anywhere where Vesrah has claimed that. I'm not trying to turn this thread into an argument, I just don't want anyone to be misinformed. Go to their website and check it out yourself if my reply pisses you off.

i know they look beefier then a stock 350x rod but i also know that powroll likes stock rods better.

im thinking the stock rod is made of better steel or something
