I observed on my 84 ytm-200e that all the parts are stamped 24W00.
My 83 ytm-200 is stamped 22v00.
If my logic is good these number represent the model and year of the trike.
I won a used cylinder and piston for a ytm/bw 200 on ebay and it is stamped 36X00.
Can someone help me identify this cylinder????

May be I misread and one of the number is 21V-00 for the ytm-200
24w-00 make sense for my ytm-200e.
Make me wonder if my spare cylinder is off a bw 200.
thank you for your help kevo225dx

Yamaha also re-uses parts, for example, if the part was designed for a 200 (21V) and then used on the 200E (24W) later it would still retain the 21V code.

I “think” the 29U parts are indicative of a 1985 225 trike. The fox’s post mirrors my experience.

If you go to the yamahapartsfish site and go back and forth between all the 1983 to 85 models you’ll soon be able to figure out what’s what.
