This is one of those machine's that has been given a second chance at life ,and after finding everything ,oem and some bling, bling - It's all coming together like a glove. It's been on the backburner for along time and I should have her up and running this weekend,if all goes good. It's going to a fella that used to race back in the day and I guess he want's to relive his racing day's so he want's it to be set-up with some old-school race feature's ,but customized to his taste as well.
The motor was redone -new piston, cam, spring's,valve's,clutch, basket, clutch spring's and a few other odd's and end's.Another custom Anodized Blue frame ,and hint's of chrome. On the motor the big thing that helped was the new Powerband by Cyclops,(pictured with motor),I went with the Tan ,because the red or green would have been a bit too much for the 200X motor! I think the Tan is gonna wake that motor rite up! Anyone ever have luck with the Blue powerband's in the 200x motor ?
Anyway's here's a few pic's Of where it's at today ,but I'll shoot some more pic's and detail's ,as I near the finish line.:pics:

You guys are being rediculous... :lock:

Power Bands can ONLY be installed from the factory and can't be replaced. They are a pressed "interference" fit and cannot be removed or changed.

If a NewB reads this they'll be lost and try to do it themselves, most guys can't even find them and the motor ends up in a box and on EBAY

If you need a new power band, pull the motor and ship it to Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawasaki. Those are the 3 manufacturers that seem to have the larges PB failures and there have been active recalls since the mid 1980's..... I've actually NEVER seen a Honda PB break and thats why I RIDE RED :w00t:
