Hey guys what has a laydown motor like the atc70 but with a bigger CC engine? Im actually needing to know so i can find an exhaust for my atc70 with a big arse lifan motor thats going into it. People use the crf50 exhausts BUT those are for 50cc bikes and i think it would restrict a 125cc-138cc too much. any ideas will be GREATLY appreciated.

You can get "big-bore" FMF pipes meant for bored-out CRF50's (they're usually 77 or so CC's instead), which would fit your machine just fine with some bending.

Did you see the custom made pipe for the 70's over on Glamisdunes? Seriously, there are 20 pages of good info over there.

I actually have a stock SDG exhaust pipe/can and it sounds just as good/better than my friend's Yoshimura RS-3. It looks pretty nice too. I'd let it go for 125 bones + shipping. Look at any SDG pit bike and you'll see what the pipe looks like.

i've been there for hours and even have a thread started for this subject over there. im just looking for other alternatives. I also dont really want to spend 2-300 for an atc70 exhaust either. yea, yea, you get what you pay for i know. Someone suggested the sterdy pipe but i went to there website and it didnt show ANY exhausts for the atc70. I also heard the sterdy pipe is almost $200 which is more than im looking to spend for a pipe i've never heard of. I found a jardine crf50 pipe for like $115 shipped which is MUCH better than those sterdy pipes im sure. So what if i have to bend it/modify it a little bit. i'm still just trying to see what all is out there. I also heard that sterdy is in the process of making a pipe for the bigger lifan motors but it will be a month or so before they are done.

That's cool ,so you went out and got a Lifan motor for the 70 correct?? Well I know for sure that if you were to go with a 90-110 exhaust you've got alot of work ahead of you because they run internal on the frame.Food for thought is a ATC 125M or TRX 125 exhaust. Those run external and the can is quite a bit larger than the other's,then again you'd need to fab that also, but to start cutting up a new pipe to retrofit it to your build would be hard too do,buttt I've done it before,LOL.Let me know if ya need anything !!

Well most guys here are using the CRF 50 pipe thats been modded to fit. Its my opinion that most pipes will need to be cut and fit to the frame instead of trying to bend them which usually makes a kink in the pipe.

Heck Kasey is even using a two stroke silencer on his big 70.
