View Full Version : Riding boots, which ones?

I've been thinking about getting some riding boots, but all the stories about boots fitting like crap and never breaking in have me worried. I can't afford to spend a ton of money on boots, but I don't want really cheap ones that are so uncomfortable that I'd never wear them. Right now I just wear steel toe logging boots. My feet are on the wide side, so narrow boots won't do. A toe that isn't the size of texas would be nice too, I guess. I've seen the 50/50 boots, but what's the point of those if they don't protect your shin? If any body's got an opinion on a boot they think would fit the bill, let me hear it. Thanks. :beer

Cool, they seem pretty reasonably priced too. Are they actually made from leather, or is it just the pad on the shin? Ebay sellers are saying "Genuine split grain leather construction"

I like my 50/50's of course i do 90% dune ridding so i don't need to protect my shins but they required no break-in and are so flexible its ridiculous!
