First off I wish I had a camera.

Was Helping out clearing some stumps and such at a local Off-Road Park (All Wheels Off Road in Lewiston ME). Now I had brought up my 83 200E, so I could carry the chainsaw, gasoline, bar oil, etc etc. Well to cut it short, I clipped the complete and un cracked but faded factory plastic on a sapling stump about 8 inches high and cracked the left fender about 6 inches above the foot peg. At this point I'm like crap, this isn't easy to replace (aussie has repoductions, or theres always ebay).

Then a bunch of guys drive up to were we are working on some quads and I happen to spot an old honda fourtrax. shaft drive, kick start 2wd, didn't seem like anything cool at the moment and didn't realy take the time to see if it was a trx200 or a trx250. Then i started to notice similiarities. Same toolbox, location and rack as the BR. Also same fender design, only they didn't run as low to the ground as the BR's ones do. Infact the only noticable differance from the outside was there was a piece missing out of the triangle on the right side for the kicker. At this point i'm curious, I ask the guy if its the 200 or the 250, but hes unsure as it belongs toa friend and before i could probe any furhter his group is off to teh trails again.

So maier's list a rear fender set for a 85 trx250

Looks like a possibly retrofit to a 200e 200m

Anyone own a trx250 to investigate a little further??

Your seat pan may be the biggest change. I'd yank your seat off and compare the 2.

I've yet to bump into another one in person to get a better look.

If some one had one, I wouldn't mind getting some measurements of the area where the seat would be.
