View Full Version : 84 R rear fender extentions (rare), On or off ?

I didn't like them at 1st but since I got wider tires and inch longer hubs (300EX) they don't look so overwhelming but still unsure and just wondered what you would do ?

the holes are in the fenders,,run them or get a new rear fender..But then you will never ride it!:lol:

Yea, I'd be putting the original back on to ride it so what's the sense of getting a new one, this one is not broken any where and if I take the flappers :lol: off, which I think I will??, I'll keep the srews in the holes.

I think it has a cleaner/lighter look with them off but if I was an an extreme mudder type of guy, which I'm not, I'd leave them on.

Yea, I'd have to agree.

Didn't ride it yet with them, so can't answer how they are.

Jason on here with the TRX 250 has them and loves them though.

I have no input on the extensions,I guess it depends on who is looking at it and your own Choice.
But That is a very nice air-cooled R none the less.Very clean ride.

Now that there is a new MX track (ATC's allowed I hear :Bounce ) 40 minutes from me, I'd much rather go motoing !!

Jason on here with the TRX 250 has them and loves them though.

yeah the rears work nice i have them on REX my 400ex with a 250r motor in it. they hook up awesome forward andthey slide nice.

there front suck though they are IRAZRs

let me know when your going and i'll break out the trx250r. i have not rode it at a track in 6 monthe or more.
