View Full Version : ATC295R on stock carb...would it work?
I'm having trouble trying to find how to convert my Alky Lectron to a gas carb...so here's what I'm thinking, try and find a stock carb...anybody have any ideas on how well it would work?

hell ill trade you my 38mm gas carb for your alky lectron ive been looking for one. what size is it?

I would look for something bigger, like a 38mm, or a 39pwk.
And if you dont want that lectron, and neither does Newby, Ill buy it from you.

I am running a stock carb on a 295. I works fine.
It will run much better with a 38 or 39. You wont get all the potential the 295 is capable of with a stock. You can get a brand new 38 Airstryker for about 130 bux.
If you read any write up about the kit, they recommend a bigger carb.
