As some of you know, I picked up 2 new bikes a week or so back.
Ive had a couple questions, so I figure Ill post some info here.
The deal:
1986 250R I bought from Cory Sprock. In the deal, the 86 motor with matching numbers is to be completely rebuilt, seals, bearings, and all. Overall its in good shape. The rear fender has an exhuast burn, a bit of boot rub on the frame, the usual.

Then,,,,,,,,
The 1987 Tecate 3
The longer I own this, the more it has grown on me. Overall its in good shape as well. I bought both these bikes from Cory in one purchase. Part of the deal for this bike is a bigbore kit, with a complete bottom end rebuild.
(theres a little bit of dirt in the rims, their actually in superb shape)

The Tecate has mostly all the important parts, including keyswitch.
The issues:
-home fix on the shock resivoir (not a bad job)
-small ziptied spot on the headlight bracket
-frame will need repainting
-front shocks and boots
-chain sliders
-small tear in seat
other then those things, and some stickers, its in good condition. Im going to keep it the way it is for a while, it will get an ocasional ride. Down the road Im going to do a "refresh" -paint the frame, new plastics where needed, and just some small other numerous things including nuts and bolts.
