125 trans parts in a 200

hey guys brand new to the forum, i just got a 1983 yamaha ytm 200 but the front output shaft that comes out of the transmision was broken off, the one that holds the front cog for the chain. i also got a 1983 ytm 125 2 stroke and i took the shaft out of that today and i was wondering if that shaft would work in my 200.

hey welcome and i dont think it will since the 125 is a 2 stroke and the 200 is a 4 but im not to sure.

yea i had a double post for a sec there and one fella said no they dont so i need to find my self a ytm 200 motor i need the shaft and a recoil then the bike is mint. any one got any?
