Raffa got ahold of them boys at OMF.... This is what they had to say....What do you think?

Hey Jeff,
Thanks for checking out our website. We do still offer the swing arm skid plate for the old Tri-Z 250. I don't have any built in stock, but I could have one built up for you withing a couple weeks. Cost per skid is $99.95. By the way, how did you hear about us? Were you searching for skids and we popped up or did someone tell you that we offered them?

Thanks,
Bones

Anyone interesting in purchasing one with me. If we get some people together maybe i can coax em to lower the price on a larger order????

I bought an omf skid. They are real nice and tight to the stock size rear sprocket. have a nice rubber strip too. Youll never worry about throwing chains with the OMF. Unfortunately i sold mine with the tri-z, but they are really worth it. They take six weeks to build them and ship though. Come with the appropriate spacers and hw. Real slick look to it.

They are cool on the phone too. Definitely support a company that supports our trikes with parts.

Thanks for the info bro. I believe i will be getting myself one of these bad boys! I could spend 50-60 shipped for a used tri-z swinger guard or i can go better and beefier than new!

Count me in. I was planning on calling them anyways. Chances are they'll want to deal with us each individually though. I've never been in on a group buy.

hey guys,

if anyone is emailing/calling and ordering a skid from them, could you ask what other model trikes they have tools for and still support.

Im sure they make for 350x and 250r. But that info would be nice to know. Someone asked about the 86 tecate and they do not make one for them.

I dont need one myself, otherwise i would be asking.

I heard from Bones again today. They actually had one in stock and i got the last one. He is willing to build more but due to there not being huge interest they cant do much on the price. 99.95 plus shipping guys. So figure at best $115 bucks shipped to your doors. Give them a call or email Bones and tell him you heard about it on 3ww. He was stoked to know there are still a ton of Z riders out there!

Finally remembered to call Bones from OMF at the right time. I could only seem to remember in the am here. They are in cali. Either way they had one Tri-Z skid plate in stock and I ordered it. Should take a week for it to get here. He was easy to talk to and seemed to be genuinely sincere. He also said his uncle was selling a Tri-Z out there for like 1250. He said it was in great shape. He already e-mailed me pictures of it, looks pretty good.
