Good point Kasey...I really could care about winning a poll, but the point is there just the same.

"sweetest" should be what is says...not sweetest "ridden once in a while", or "every day", or "once a year"...its who's got the nicest 350X. Tom Batts probably has the nicest looking X I've and many others have seen.


Mine spends most of its time in the garage, but when I ride it, it gets ridden hard and it gets muddy...

OK so we'll base it on the "sweetest" 350X as the topic said. My vote is on the yellow 350X, looks great and very well done.

A daily rider won't win this contest. Hell, I even had bubbles in my 350X stickers when I put them on..... But I thought to myself, heck I'll scrape em off in the first 3 rides so who cares.

Point is, I can appreciate a nice OEM restore and they do deserve to be voted the "sweetest" out there. But who can't build a mint OEM ATC? Deep pockets or a credit card with a high limit can build an exact OEM model. How much will Vintagemike's 87 200X cost the buyer?? I respect the "garage queens" but they just aren't the same as a daily rider. I'm here to ride, wrench and enjoy the ATC's and I enjoy the museum quality trikes too, but the daily rider thats built and beat earns my vote.

When I build the 86 200X with PC and all I'll take a nice picture of it the second it's done. Because an hour later it will be in the air and on it's back :w00t:

well said man. when i repainted my 200s someone said "ooo that looks nice" i said "you better tack a picture of it" they said "why" then i said " because by time the day is out she wont look the same" well by time the day was out it was coated in mud from top to bottom and i seem to have broken the frame too.

but dam i love to see nice trikes though. maybe because i know ill never have the money to make a runner and a "garage queen". so the one i do have gets abused bad. but do fix it and keep it up.

Here is mine.....a garage queen of course :D and 95 % done like everything:rolleyes: . I must say building the perfect restoration takes more than a gold card or fat wallet. Some of the parts and machines are obsolete or just rare as hell. Some of the people with those cards beg me to sell them some of this stuff.....and in the end they have their gold card :lol:

My point is attention to detail , the hunt , and the score are all something money cant buy :TrikesOwn

You guys who ride only sand really have a HUGE advantage with keeping your bikes mint!!!! I ride my bike all the time, but it always gets pressure washed and has a coat of wax thrown on it after. Riding in nice soft sand were the worse thing that could happen is you roll it in which case you and the bike hit soft sand must be nice!!!!

all those desert guys get all that chrome and custom paint jobs, around here you'd just get laughed at and called an idiot hahaha

Best Garage Queen (the yellow X, wow....in a field of penguins, it clearly has the brightest bowtie), and best daily rider.....as the first time that yellow X saw mud it would be as ugly as a pair of bowling shoes afterward.

Of course, we could also subdivide....kind of like the Academy awards....
