So I got these nice Douglas wheels for my Big Red project, The HD red label wheels, .190, lighter than I thought they'd be.

Anyway, they are 5+2 wheels. I'm wondering if I can mount my directional tires on them so that they are 2+5 wheels. They look the same front and back, and I would assume the wheel integrity would be fine mounted this way.

Anybody ever done that? Seems like a no brainer, just wanted to check before I mount the tires up. Thanks, Chris

yes you can but your valve stems will be on the inside,,not a big deal...

I have taken a valve stem and put it in backwards in the hole and drilled a new hole on the other side..before,,,depending on how mutch space you got to access the stem on the inside

Thanks Raffa, never even thought about the valve stems. I may drill the back side and install a valve stem on both sides just for the hell of it. Chris
