So here you guys go. This is my 85 250r.Going to just tear it down, clean it up and reassemble it.HAve a few aftermarket parts for it as well. The 86 350x is my everyday,go anywhere bike.I bought this thing about 4+ years ago.All I have done is rebuild the forks, chain, sprockets, rebuild the carrier, new axle, tires all around,Then I bought a take out motor and installed it.Only because I sold the old motor for a good price.I Think the 350x is one of thebest all around bikes made!!! But ya gotta have a 2 banger to get a woody with!!:D

Yes I have 2 still an 85 and 86.I am going to post pics of the progress of the 86.
Okay here is where I am.I wasnt going to post anything about this bike until it was done. But it is going to be a long going project.I have to thank Hagen for all the custom parts so far.I am gonna hit you up for more!! I have some parts just bolted on to see what else I need to order.I need lots of small OEM parts. The frame is powdercoated a Candy Apple Red.The +2 Westcoast swinger is a Pearl White.Everything else is just a Gloss Black. This bike started out as Trikeaholic's rebuild. The day I got the bike home I had no room to store it.So I tore it down to the frame and sold off all the parts I knew I was going to change. One part I did sell and am sorry I did was a 23 in front tire brand new.WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!!!!!! grrrrrrrrrrr Ill find another one. This is getting a bigbore from sprocks as well as one of his heads.Same as the clutch basket when he gets started on them. And anything else I can find or other members build,as I am building this bike. There wont be much more progress until I get all the small OEM parts in.Enjoy.Not sure I am going to use Hagen gas tank on the 86 or 85???

I like the way that Z is looking. Did they use a a regular silver base for that candy or does they use a sparkle silver?

I am not sure what the base coat was.I did not want any silver vein or anything like that.Just the candy apple red. Same as the Pearl white.

Sweet!! In the note you sent with the kit I bought you were missing a few things too.I have some duplicate parts from a few ebay purchases.I tell ya,It is some amazing pieces, even the little ones. They add so much quality to the finished product. What else do you have kicking around for the Tri-Z? I want to add as many of everyones custom parts as I can.

Orginally I had plan to make it all OEM.But I sold my Yellow Z.I thought we were going to be moving into an apartment.I had no storage. We didnt move there but to a house with 2 huge barns.SInce I sold most of the stock parts off as well,I was only left with all the cool aftermarket parts I wont part with!!I can still make another 86 stock looking with just a few mods. But I got another 85 Tri-Z from freakfix.I am building that to match my yellow tri-Zinger.
What do you have left for bikes??? You should change your name from trikeaholic to where the heck have you been!! Good to see you still post!! Later Mike

Dang I need to find anaother 23 myself.I am leaning towards doing a 250r front hub set up.There are more tires avaliable for the 250r front rim.I am glad I saved the swinger too.I also kept the LRD exhaust, the headlight lens guard, and a few other nice oem parts.
Good to see your still around Jeb.
