westcoast swingarm?

Are westcoast swingers made of steel of aluminum? I was seaching some old threads trying to get some ideas for a swingarm, but all the westcoast ones I saw were painted and I couldn't really see what the welds looked like to verify if they were steel of aluminum.

I know all three of my westcoasts are steel.I have them for my 86 Tri-Z,86 350x and my 85 250r.I am pretty sure all westcoast are steel.

I have three, and they are all steel, too. The Tecate one does have a aluminum shock mount, but the rest of it is steel.
